- Install Refrigerant Pressure Gauges. Monitor System Pressures, Compressor Operation And Test HVAC Performance. Pressures Are Normal, Compressor Is Cycling And Vent Temperature Is 40F At This Time. Road Test, After 2.5 Miles A/C Went Warm. A/C Compressor Is Not Running. Test A/C Compressor Clutch Power And Grounds. All Working Normal. A/C Compressor Clutch Has Failed And Will Require Replacement Of A/C Compressor.
